The RT-1000-WD Router table should be your next
new purchase for your woodworking shop. This very
well made table is constructed of 3/4" industrial
grade melamine. All the joints are dado, rabbet,
glued and brad nailed. The base cabinet, table and
fence are trimmed and finished in solid Black
American walnut .With the RT-1000-WD routing is

The RT-1000 stands 35" tall. Its top is just the right size, 32" wide x 24" deep. Its top is 1.5" thick for stability and flatness. This unit weighs 110 lbs. It has a 4" dust port on the left side for attaching your vacuum system. There are 5 drawers in the RT-1000-WD. 2 drawers hold 44 -- 1/4 router bits. 2 drawers hold 28-- 1/2" router bits. One drawer to store your wrenches, template guides, bearings etc. The vented acrylic glass door covering the router compartment is hinged and has a magnetic catch to hold the door closed. There are two electrical plugs in the base cabinet that are controlled by an external switch and an 8 foot power cord wired for 110 volts.

Each sliding fence on this split fence system can be adjusted up to 3/4" for glue joint work. More importantly, it will go back to a straight edge in seconds. For vertical panel a high fence can be easily adapted. The fence will open from 0 to 5". It moves back and forth 5" for those odd shapes, and free hand work. Best of all this unit will still collect 99% of the saw dust. There is a 3/4 " aluminum track that runs the length of the table for your miter gauge. There are three available insert for the RT-1000. The most common is with a 2" hole. One with a 3.5" hole for raise panel or other wide cutters and a blank for drilling your own center especially if you need a 0 tolerance insert a 2" is included with model. The inserts are made of 3/8 "lexan" acrylic and are 9.250" x 11.750". This opening will accept most of the popular router lifts.

They will hold any router from small up to 3 1/4 H.P. If you plan to purchase a larger router in the future, you can mount your router on the table now and replace the insert ($22.00) for the new router or have as many routers as you need. The RT-1000 is perfectly designed to work with a dust collector it will collect almost all the dust your router makes. The hole under the dust chute keeps the dust in a separate compartment away from your router and the vented acrylic door allows air flow through the router compartment. |
